2016 PROGRAMS

JANUARY - Blackwork Basics.  This is a little piece by Ilse Altherr, with three leaves,

each stitched in a different blackwork pattern. The historical blackwork technique is easy to learn and very versatile.

FEBRUARY - Movie Night!  Join us for a night enjoying a presentation on Italian

Needlework Treasures!

MARCH - Temari is a traditional Japanese embroidered ball that was used for special

games.  There are numerous traditional designs that once learned can be changed and/or combined to create your very own unique treasure.

APRIL - Annual Silent Auction

MAY - Pulled Thread Biscornu - first installment of a two-part piece

JUNE - Summer Towel.

JULY - Wrapping Presence.  This is a community service project. We will make holiday

decorations for nursing home residents

AUGUST - Picnic cancelled. Regular meeting.
